At Lizzie’s Cake Co, every cake is handmade to order, specifically tailored to your preferences. Because of the custom nature of our products, we ask that you carefully read our return and cancellation policy before placing your order.


1. No Returns on Custom Cakes

Due to hygiene and food safety regulations, we do not accept returns on any cake or edible product, whether collected or delivered. Each cake is freshly made and personalised, and cannot be reused or resold.


2. Cancellations

  • You may cancel your order 7 days before your scheduled delivery or collection date for a partial refund (minus costs such as accessories or ingredients already purchased).

  • Cancellations requested within less than 7 days of the scheduled delivery or collection time will not be eligible for a refund, as work on your order will already be underway or completed.


3. Order Changes

We are happy to make changes to your order (e.g., flavour, colour, delivery details) up to 7 days before the scheduled date. However costs may apply to incorporate your changes. 
Please contact us immediately at support@lizziescakeco.co.uk with your order number and the requested changes.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take great care in baking, designing, and packaging every cake. However, if your cake arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery or collection.

  • Provide a clear description and photographic evidence of the issue.

  • If the error is on our part, we will offer a suitable resolution, which may include a partial refund, store credit, or replacement.

We do not accept complaints or refund requests made after 24 hours of delivery/collection.


5. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of ordering.
While we take care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee our cakes are allergen-free due to the presence of common allergens in our kitchen (e.g., nuts, eggs, gluten, dairy).
